I’m super excited to tell you all that Marigold nominated me for the Liebster award.  My first ever blog award!  Not quite sure how these things work, but I’ll just do it anyway.  Thank you so, so, much Marigold!

QUESTIONS I WAS ASKED:

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging to get more involved in the PBC.  I saw how awesome it was and had a hard time participating in events because I was always forgetting about them.  I decided joining the community was a great way to get more involved.

What made you decide on your blog’s official name?

I didn’t really put any thought into it, and just put it together.  This blog is about my memories from Pixie Hollow, and I’m Crystal Oakbelle.  The name Crystal Oakbelle’s Pixie Memories was born.

What do you like best about blogging?

I really like getting online very morning and seeing my inbox full of WordPress alerts.  It makes me feel happy that people are taking the time to comment on and like my posts.  The rare ocassion when someone reblogs them fills me to the brim with joy.

What do you like the least about blogging?

I don’t enjoy having to continously come up with topics to blog about.  I wasn’t pacing myself when I started blogging, so I was posting a couple times a week, and now I’m all out of ideas.  But don’t worry, because I have a bunch of drafts I’m working on!

What makes you laugh out loud?

Pretty much anything.  My friends pick on me for it, in a good way.  It’ll be silent, and I’ll just start laughing for no reason.  It’ll be a very serious matter, and I’ll think of something funny (like a pun or reference) that was mentioned, and then just start laughing.  I’ve found that I have to be there in the moment though.  I don’t laugh very easily when I’m reading or watching.  It has to be in front of me.

What is an item you can’t live without?

There’s a charm bracelet under my bed in a shoebox that an old friend gave to me a long time ago.  He stopped speaking to me and the rest of our friends.  I like to keep it and take it out to think of him every once and a while.  I don’t know what I’d do to remember him by without it.  I feel like we grow further apart every second.  He’s changed quite a bit.

What is your favorite outfit and/or accesory you like to wear?

With me, it’s all about practical.  You won’t catch me spending more than five minutes on my hair or doing makeup at all.  My favorite outfit is jeans and a t-shirt.  I don’t really own much else.  My favorite t-shirts are the ones that are just a solid color, preferably purple.  Accesory wise I like to wear a purple watch.  Though recently I lost it, so I’ve been going without.  I should look for it.  I’m really fond of necklaces (especially lockets).  I don’t wear them because I don’t have any.
